Short Note:

Photosynthesis – The food needed by the plants for their growth prepared by themselves. For preparation of food plants absorb the required salts and water from the soil. Beside these plants needed light, chlorophyll, carbon dioxide for this purpose. This process can be shown thus:

In this process, plant convert light energy into chemical energy and store in the form of food. This process of transformation is aided by chlorophyll. This process of transformation of energy is called photosynthesis.
